چکیده

In this review, we discuss the electronic structures, topological properties, correlated states, nonlinear optical responses, as well phonon and electron-phonon coupling effects of moiré graphene superlattices. First, illustrate that topologically non-trivial flat bands orbital magnetism are ubiquitous in various twisted systems. particular, magic-angle bilayer can be explained from a zeroth pseudo-Landau-level picture, which naturally explain experimentally observed quantum anomalous Hall effect some other states. These nontrivial may lead to nearly quantized piezoelectric response, used directly probe valley Chern numbers these A simple general chiral decomposition rule is reviewed discussed, predict low-energy band dispersions generic multilayer system alternating system. This review further discusses interaction TBG such insulator density wave cascade transitions, nematic proposes measurement an experimental distinguish different “featureless” The properties also briefly reviewed. novel physics emerging band-aligned graphene-insulator heterostructres discussed review. end, make summary outlook about physical superlattices based on two-dimensional materials.

Electrical Properties of Graphene for Interconnect Applications

A semi-classical electrodynamical model is derived to describe the electrical transport along graphene, based on the modified Boltzmann transport equation. The model is derived in the typical operating conditions predicted for future integrated circuits nano-interconnects, i.e., a low bias condition and an operating frequency up to 1 THz. A generalized non-local dispersive Ohm’s law is derived,...

Electrical Noise and Transport Properties of Graphene

We present a study of the noise properties of single-layer exfoliated graphene as a function of gate bias. A tunnel/trap model is presented based on the interaction of graphene electrons with the underlying substrate. The model incorporates trap position, energy, and barrier height for tunneling into a given trap—along with the band-structure of the graphene—and is in good accord with the gener...

Mechanical and Electrical Properties of Graphene Sheets

This thesis examines the electrical and mechanical properties of graphene sheets. We perform low temperature electrical transport measurements on gated, quasi-2D graphite quantum dots. In devices with low contact resistances, we use longitudinal and Hall resistances to extract a carrier density of 2-6 x 10 11 holes per sheet and a mobility of 200-1900 cm 2 /V-s. In devices with high resistance ...

Enhanced electrical conductivity properties of Graphene Oxide nanocomposites functionalized with Polyvinyl Alcohol

We report the synthesized and preparation of graphene oxide (GO) nanocomposite functionalized with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) with different concentration of graphene oxide 0, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4% weight. This synthesized confirmed by FT-IR. The electrical conductivity of the all nanocomposite was measured at 25°C for all samples and the resulted showed electrical conductivity ...

Structural properties and site specific interactions of Pt with the graphene/Ru(0001) moiré overlayer.

The coherence of graphene layers on Ru(0001) over extended distances has been employed to identify fcc and hcp regions of the associated moire superstructure. These findings can be used as a straightforward method to discriminate between fcc and hcp hollow sites of Ru(0001). Our approach thereby makes use of the "magnifying lens" characteristics of the graphene/Ru(0001) overlayer and its cohere...
